Loved my Tranquil treatment with Danielle at Head Spa Bar in Huntington Beach!

It was a lovely long session that included a facial massage, a head massage, a hair wash, and a lay flat massage chair! It was soft and cozy and very relaxing. Danielle also offered some beverages after, I chose the relaxing tea. My hair looks great and I will definitely be back.

It was also fun to see my scalp before and after. In the attached images, the top image is the before and the bottom image is after the treatment.

I booked a head spa treatment last-minute after a long day at work, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made! Danielle does a great job of arranging a relaxing atmosphere and helping me unwind. The music was nice, the blankets were fluffy, the massage chair was comfy, and the hair treatment itself was heavenly. Everything smelled great, everything felt great, and my hair looked gorgeous at the end of my appointment. This was such a relaxing treat! My hair is clean and soft and smells delicious. Definitely making this part of my self care routine!

Edit: omg I almost forgot the mini facial! While my hair mask was setting, I was treated to a mini facial including cleansing, massage, and a refreshing sheet mask! I loved every moment...more

My daughter is twelve and this was her first spa treatment! It was an amazing experience! Her hair and scalp was dry with lots of flaking, dandruff, etc. Afterwards, her scalp was spotless, smooth, smelled amazing and hair was silky. Night and day from when we went in versus when we left. She said she felt so relaxed during the experience that she almost fell asleep. I unfortunately do not know the name of who did her treatment but she did a wonderful job! She also made sure I was comfortable while waiting. Can’t recommend this enough! I will be going back to get my own treatment soon....more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Head Spa Bar in Downtown Huntington Beach! It was my first time trying a head spa, and I honestly thought it would just be a relaxing scalp massage. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it was so much more than that.
Daniele was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire experience. She showed me the condition of my scalp before the treatment and explained exactly what my scalp and hair needed. The treatment was completely customized, which made me feel very well cared for.
At the end of the session, she showed me another photo of my scalp, and the results were amazing! My scalp was completely clean, healthy-looking, and refreshed. My hair felt incredibly soft, looked shiny, and had so much more life to it.
I love the concept of combining relaxation with professional scalp and hair care. It was such a unique and enjoyable experience, and I left feeling refreshed and confident. I highly recommend Head Spa Bar to anyone looking to take better care of their hair and scalp while enjoying a truly relaxing experience.

This place SURPASSED all of my expectations with a PHENOMENAL experience. The owner herself works on your scalp and really delivers QUALITY, which other places don’t focus on. There are different packages for service to choose from, and while they seem pricier than some of the other local spots, IT IS WORTH IT. You get what you pay for, and that is a true personal experience tailored to your scalp’s health and specific needs, using QUALITY products.

My appointment went like this: first Michele does an assessment of your scalp by using a specialized camera that shows the state of your scalp. The camera showed that my scalp was FULL of buildup and that it was red with inflammation. So, she went to work to address those specific issues, which I actually didn’t realize I had.

You have to remove your shirt because of the water splashing, but you’re given a comfortable and warm covering that you strap around your chest. Then you lay down on a really nice bed massager that gives you a FULL body massage while your scalp is serviced. It’s not a cheap bed either, it’s well maintained and really nice.

Michelle starts with a facial and neck/shoulder massage, which is soooo relaxing. At the end of this phase, you wear a face mask as she starts on your scalp with warm water. My service included a shampoo, a scalp scrub with a special device, a scalp massage, oil treatment, and conditioning. After about an hour, I was dried off and Michele used an interesting machine on my head which projects light therapy directly to your scalp. Afterward she blow dried my hair and left my hair super smooth.

Michele’s spa is an intimate suite intended for a one on one session, which made it such a personal and relaxing experience, versus the other local spots which have 10 beds/appointments at a time. I had a lovely and amazing experience and I can’t wait to go back. She currently has a Black Friday special which is WORTH IT....more

I am a repeat customer. This is an amazing experience! Michele has gentle hands, and all these tools and technology that I did not expect from a little boutique spa. I am picky with certain products and she answered each question with expertise. The scalp analysis SHOWS you drastic results in after 1 treatment. I'll attach images of my before and after. My jaw dropped the first time. I've seen other scalp spa places but they don't offer everything this place does. Especially the privacy. You get a body massage, an exfoliating scrub, a hair mask with high quality products that smell amazing and add ons like mini facial and a blow out. As well as complimentary coffee or Prosecco too. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a head spa treatment to give Michele’s Head Spa Bar in Huntington Beach a visit and to enjoy the experience. I believe you would be pleasantly surprised how relaxing it was in her studio and her technique to help promote healthier hair and scalp. Her scalp therapy includes various steps beginning with a scalp analysis, scalp and facial massages, steaming, deep cleansing, and the application of nourishing products. And all of her products are organic, which is a big plus and benefit if you have done any research on scalp therapy. I went to do my head spa at this place not knowing what to expect only a friend’s recommendation that it would be so good for head , scalp and hair .... and what a good surprise!!! It is not only a scalp and hair treatment but a relaxing and aromatherapy with so many different blossom smells in the products she uses on your head! Not talking about the massage the beds makes on your full body. The specialist who is so sweet and professional by the way showed my scalp in ultrasound image before and after the treatment.
